Dexter Muller's next chapter

A longtime senior advisor for the Greater Memphis Chamber’s development department is retiring.
Dexter Muller will retire Jan. 15, but says he will remain on retainer with the Chamber for one year.

Muller said , He was not headed to the barn quite yet. He was quoted saying, “I tell people I’ve been in the saddle so long I’ve got calluses in all the right places, and I’m not planning on letting them soften.”

Along with his role at the Chamber, a continued partnership with the Commercial Real Estate Owner’s Alliance and consulting, Muller plans to devote the majority of his retirement to nonprofit and volunteer work.

Memphis has been quite fortunate to enjoy Dexter’s commitment to his community all these years.
